Sri Krishna Yoga Foundation (SKYF) is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2010. SKYF combines material development with spirituality to for a holistic way of life. Our desire to reach out and work devotedly ensures an equitable and sustainable model of growth. Social responsibility activities are central values of Sri Krishna Yoga Foundation ( SKYF ).
Social responsibility in SKYF is conducted under the direct and passionate supervision of its founder and president Yogi Sukra Chiatanya . All SKYF volunteers exude spiritual wisdom and compassion. There are devoted groups of cheerful people doing very serious work to spread happiness. Each group competes with the other to make the most positive impact. SKYF works on need based projects right at the grass root level for more effectiveness.
SKYF is intimately connected with rural communities. Sri Krishna Yoga Foundation helps farmers to market their village handicrafts and Mountain herbal crops at sustainable prices so as to create more opportunities for income generation in far flung mountain villages of Uttrakhand. We invite our yoga students to join an optional free internship of seven days to experience life in mountain villages. We invite volunteers like you to put their individual efforts which will go a long way in preserving the rich and unique flora of the Himalayan forests.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ACTIVITIES OF SYF –Sri Krishna Yoga Foundation ( SKYF ) fulfils its social responsibility through SAHELI – (Social Awareness of Health, Empowerment, Literacy and Innovation). The word SAHELI means an empathic female friend of a woman. SAHELI's focus is women empowerment as it is the most effective way of social change. Women empowerment is being done through self help groups specifically for women.
SAHELI is actively involved in gender equality through women empowerment. SAHELI is simultaneously working on child care awareness as it is strongly connected with women empowerment. SAHELI has created a child care group for each skill development centre for women development.
We are actively involved in work on underprivileged rural areas of Uttrakhand as it is a new state and is still in its infancy. We are currently working for the village folk to channelize their potential in the following areas: – emergency medical treatment for rural areas of Uttrakhand. Promotion of corporate socialism through its various skill development plans. We conduct skill enhancement courses specifically for men as well as women of rural areas of Uttrakhand. We have highly experienced skill development coaches to guide the villages in such a way that they help themselves.
