Lord Krishna delivered this message in the holiest of Hindu texts, the 'Bhagavad Gita.' The allegorical story details how to reach spiritual realisation through 18 paths of 'yoga' or 'union.'

Sri Krishna Yoga (SKYoga) Foundation believes that every person, from every background, of any age, race, colour or creed can fulfill their life's purpose by following Lord Krishna's timeless teachings. SKY's lifelong, award-winning yogis take a holistic approach to yoga, by teaching students how to live according to the 'Eight Limbs of Yoga.'

SKY's teachers live according to the ancient Vedic scriptures in the 21st century, and offer students a rare insight into how this sacred knowledge can be practically adapted into modern day life. SKY teaches students to access the limitless power within, to not only better themselves, but also better the lives of others.

Sri 'Lord' Krishna is the central figure of the Hindu Bhagavad Gita. Sri Krishna is widely considered to be an Avatar – a direct descent of God. Krishna is one of the many names of Lord Vishnu.

Two Yogis, With a Dream

Sri Krishna Yoga (SKYoga) Foundation was founded by two of Rishikesh's most loved yoga teachers, best friends Yogi Sukra Chiantanya and Achariya Sukhmeet Singh. After teaching numerous courses, drop-in-classes, retreats and workshops, plus implementing schedules and programmes at yoga schools and ashrams throughout India, both discovered that the authentic science of yoga that had been developed over thousands of years was only being taught in a select number of Indian schools. As dedicated scholars who had practiced traditional yoga throughout their lives, they formed a common belief that people get the best results from yoga when it is taught according to the tradition. The content of yoga should not change, but the way how it was being taught did.

Sukra and Ravi have taken these teachings, and made them relevant to 21st century life. Their holistic approach to yoga combined with their warm hearts inspire students and other teachers alike.
